Arriving, the Underhill Commandos quickly unfurl the carpets and place the plushiness.
These fine cycling women scoff at the notion of a "women's couch" (actually heavier than
the so-called men's couch) and hoist it with gusto.
Special test of the light for the upcoming
scenes in Doctor Strangelove.
Soon the set-up is complete and the guests arrive.
Special guests include an army of chopper bikes!

Watch the set-up of one summer night at Underhill.
First two couches are turned into a box, and a carpet laid across.
Next lots of goodies are piled inside the couch box.

(formerly "Fresh Aire Trailer Works").
And not a moment too soon! The police have arrived early this time, but
to-date (July 8th, 2000) there have been no arrests at the Underhill Movie Night.

Pedestrian "Bike-In" Movie Night Party and Protest in the Underhill
parking lot (Channing and College, Berkeley) Saturday 6/17, 9 PM. Couches,

ill-conceived plan to build wasteful housing for killer cars rather than
useful housing for living people who truly need it, right where
