The Walk-In/Bike-In/Skate-In Movie Night Party and Protest
This is from the year 2000 so invites are now out of date -- as of June 10, 2002

Watch the set-up of one summer night at Underhill.
First two couches are turned into a box, and a carpet laid across.
Next lots of goodies are piled inside the couch box.
All in all, a momentous load for this Bikes At Work trailer
(formerly "Fresh Aire Trailer Works").

A few heavy 'n small items (big BOAT battery and sodas) go in th li'l Bob.

Arriving, the Underhill Commandos quickly unfurl the carpets and place the plushiness.
And not a moment too soon! The police have arrived early this time, but
to-date (July 8th, 2000) there have been no arrests at the Underhill Movie Night.

These fine cycling women scoff at the notion of a "women's couch" (actually heavier than the so-called men's couch) and hoist it with gusto.

Special test of the RED-ALERT light for the upcoming scenes in Doctor Strangelove.

Soon the set-up is complete and the guests arrive.

Special guests include an army of chopper bikes!
Yes, come enjoy occasional visits from the CRVSADER
Chopper Armada of the C.H.V.N.K. 666 Carmageddonion!

Until next week...every Saturday night all summer, 9 PM, Underhill PArking Lot
(corner of College and Haste in Berkeley).

From the email bulletin:

Pedestrian "Bike-In" Movie Night Party and Protest in the Underhill
parking lot (Channing and College, Berkeley) Saturday 6/17, 9 PM. Couches,
carpets, snacks and sodas, all free. Help transform a parking lot into a
paradise every Saturday night this summer in protest of the University's
ill-conceived plan to build wasteful housing for killer cars rather than
useful housing for living people who truly need it, right where
alternative transportation needs a break from automobile congestion. Info:
