Law student gets bogus ticket from the Berkeley Police Department

Jason:

I had a run-in with an extremely hostile Berkeley police officer who cited me
for failing to "yield way" to his bloated police car at the intersection of
Oxford and Center last week... I am contesting the ticket that was issued (I
was obeying the law) and I also am considering bringing a claim before the
police review commission.  I want to make a statement about the absurd double
standards being applied to bicyclists in Berkeley, in addition to holding this
officer personally responsible for his outrageous and dangerous behavior
towards me.
