The Bicycle Civil Liberties Union's primary goals are:

1. To ensure equal access and safe accomodations for nonmotorized travelers:
   • Equal access and safe accomodations to facilities including roads, transit, bridges and parking;

   • Equal treatment by police and the legal system;

   • An end to harassment, discrimination and unsafe conditions

2. To develop resources for cyclists and pedestrians:
   • How to fight an unjust ticket or arrest;

   • How to get justice as the victim of a collision;

   • Ways to address injustice and fight for equity.
